Why a boiler needs a service
Like a car, a boiler is safest and most reliable when it is looked after. A service lets a Gas Safe registered engineer check the boiler and flue, clean and inspect the working parts and spot small faults before they become breakdowns, often in the middle of winter.
Many manufacturers ask for an annual service to keep the warranty valid, so check your boiler paperwork. A service record also helps if you sell the home.

If we find a fault, we will explain it and quote for the repair. We will not carry out extra work without your agreement.
Carbon monoxide safety
A fitted, working carbon monoxide alarm is a sensible precaution in any home with a gas appliance, whatever the age of the boiler. Test it regularly. A service does not replace an alarm.
