Choosing the right boiler
There are three common types. A combi boiler heats water as you use it and needs no hot water cylinder, which suits many smaller and medium homes. A system boiler works with a hot water cylinder and suits homes with higher hot water demand. A regular (heat only) boiler works with a cylinder and a loft tank, which is common in older properties.
The right choice depends on how many bathrooms you have, how many people live in the home, the space available and what is already installed. We look at what you have and recommend a boiler on that basis, not the most expensive one on the shelf.
When replacement makes sense

How the job runs
We survey your property, agree the boiler and the work, and give you a written quote. Boiler installation is gas work, so it is done by a Gas Safe registered engineer. We protect your home while we work, flush and protect the system where suitable, commission the new boiler and complete the Benchmark record so you have paperwork for your records.
